Fresh water scarcity is becoming a problem that is extending to a vast amount of regions worldwide, highlighting the need for companies working with water-ralated products and services to become water stewards. The use of right technology is not in the sustainability strategy agenda of most corporations, and Culligan stepped towards this path, leading by doing.
Challenge
Culligan needed to redefine what sustainability could mean for a corporation such as theirs in a new vision, and to translate it to a renovated brand identity down to a new product portfolio.
Interventions
Development of general sustainability narrative, a design guide, and several product conceptualisations.
Impact
One of the designed concepts developed into a business case. Organisational transformation to tighter interdepartmental collaboration as well as a company-wide extended design culture.
