In a context of accelerating change and polycrisis governments increasingly see themselves fostering innovation ecosystems where social matters are at the core. This means orienting private innovation ecosystems towards the common good and complementing them by public infrastructures that support the participation of citizens, administrations and research centers along private counterparts. The public innovation ecosystem of Catalonia, from Catlabs to the current version named Collaboratori, aims to create this type of infrastructure.
