Fresh water scarcity is becoming a problem that is extending to a vast amount of regions worldwide. Thus water stewardship shall become the standard attitude specially for companies working with water-related products as a basic sustainability strategy. In this case the right use of technology is not in the sustainability strategy agenda of most corporations and Culligan steps towards this path leads by example.
Challenge
Culligan needed to redefine what sustainability could mean for a corporation such as theirs in a new vision, and to translate it to a renovated brand identity down to a new product portfolio.
Interventions
Development of general sustainability narrative, a design guide, and several product conceptualisations.
Impact
One of the designed concepts developed into a business case. Organisational transformation to tighter interdepartmental collaboration as well as a company-wide extended design culture.
